A's First Mardi Gras

We finally made it to Galveston this year for Mardi Gras! Melissa and Nathan have been going for a couple of years and we just couldn't go before because I was preggo or A was too young! Daddy was kind of hesitant because it wasn't New Orleans but I'm not sure who had more fun, Daddy or the kids! He couldn't have been happier having his little girl sitting on his shoulders!

We drug the wagon back out and Anna loved sungglin' with Alexis. Unfortunately A just wanted to run around.
Uncle Nathan and Aunt Lissa

While Alexis was running the streets Anna got all sorts of comfy in the wagon!
It was C-O-L-D!
Mommy and her Bobbas!
What's a girl to do with all these beads?
Mrs. Joyce, Anna and Cole! Mrs. Joyce came down to celebrate Cole's birthday. We spent the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese's. Alexis isn't quite ready for it but Cole sure did have fun!
Mrs. Joyce bought the kids a light saber. A seemed to have fun with it!
Our first Mardi Gras as a family! Daddy wants to go back next weekend!
This is Anna's "don't bother me, I'm about to snag me some beads" look! Very intense!
Happy Birthday Firetruck! We love you! I can't believe you are already four! You have provided us with so many laughs and we look forward to many more years with you!
Anna and her Uncle Buck!
Throw Me Something Mister! I love this picture of my two loves!
Mommy got a little shoulder action too!
Then we came home to these three! They sure were ready to have some treats, which they are all patiently waiting for!
Catching on to the gig!
Not a fan of the sirens!

Back to the Lake

We went back to the a couple weeks ago with the Campbells and Sorensens. The boys went hunting and the kids swam in the dirty spa, fished on the deck and had lots of fun! They especially loved playing next door at Mrs. Donna's house. This was Brinkley's first visit to the lake! We were super pumped to have her join the party!!
Alexis wasn't quite ready to give up the baby toys! She just couldn't understand why she couldn't be in B's chair!
This precious baby turned 6 months old while we were playing! This crazy girl was ALL OVER the place! She wanted to be in the spa, but Mommy thought it was too cold! Maybe the next time we are there she can get in!Aunt Kristi and Brinkley!
Aunt Lissa getting some lovin'.
As the day drew on it got pretty cold!
Sharing some s'mores with Grandma.
Anna caught a pretty big fish!
Uncle Michael and Anna!
Swimming in the spa!
Uncle Brian brought Cole home a cap gun and this little man was super excited!
Silly kids!
We had a quick little photo shoot with B! Aunt Lissa is really good at getting her to laugh!

Kelsey's Going to College

On MLK day we drove to Hudson to watch Kelsey officially sign to be come a North Texas Comunity College Eagle! They have given her a scholarship to play softball and we couldn't be more excited and proud of our youngest cousin! You are truly an amazing young woman and I can't wait to see how far you go! I love you!!

Kelsey and her BFF will now be playing against each other and they have already started talking smack!!Aunt Kelsey and her number one girl!! We are pretty fond of this little one too!
