We Have Water, People

That’s right, after months of climbing off of the dock and walking into the lake, we finally have some water and we were able to fish from the docks! This past weekend we had a three day weekend, thanks to MLK, so the Addisons came to the lake for a visit. It was a nice relaxing time. The boys went hunting in the mornings while Deanna and I went on a walk and then we just watched some football and ate some good ole food!! We are heading back up there this weekend for some more fun with friends. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

The boys built a great fire the first night. We (they) had to scour the land for some wood. The next day we went and got wood! I on the other hand stayed bundled under a blanket, except when I needed a pic with my babies. We wore our Saints gear proudly! The loss still hurts! Your eyes don't decieve you, they are sitting on the dock and FISHING! Alexis snuck into bed with William!! I guess I'm going to have to watch out for this one! She doesn't even watch tv, but I guess she really likes William! The big kill! The boys got two birds, a total of three, I believe for the weekend! Getting a little loving from Mrs. B. I think he likes the remote best, though. Going for a ride with Mimi and William.Roasting marshmallows and Tebowing. Too bad he lost, but we will still cheer him on next year.Daddy and his boy!My sweet babies. She looks so happy on a cold winter day! The best picture of these two...EVER! William got himself a fish! Sharing a snack at the kiddie table. My girl loves her some dirt! He's fallen and can't get up. Seriously. He sat there, in this position for a couple of minutes, while we laughed, of course. I believe he would have sat there all day had Deanna not picked him up. He just doesn't have the agility or will to want to move around that much!Brotherly love. Grandma and Alexis. Unfortunately, she was done with taking pictures!

January Fun

We've had a great couple of weekends filled with friends, football and fun! We started New Year's off with one of the most beautiful days we have seen in Houston in months! The kids played with the dogs and pulled each other in the wagon while the dogs played fetch and swam in the pond. Then we watched the Saints and Texans while we endulged in some ham, cabbage and black eyed peas! We've been pretty pumped up about football this last week, only to be disappointed once again. That's ok though, we aren't fair weathered fans. We love our BearKats, Tigers, Saints and Texans! Guess we will have to wait until next year but this was one GREAT season for all our teams!

William lost his first two teeth!
Anna just loves the babies. She was pulling Ryder all over the yard!
Daddy was having fun with his boy!
Last week we had some friends over to watch the Texans first playoff game. Wish today's game had the same outcome, but at least we made it to the playoffs! Uncle Mike and Aunt Missy stopped by to play on their way home from the game.
Alexis sitting in her baby's carriage! Maybe we are a little bit confused about WHO the baby is?
Mommy and her girl!
Brady made a pink gun!
This boy has one heck of a spiral!
Alexis was trying to give Brady some loving while getting her chair back at the same time. He didn't appreciate the loving as much as she did! We are working on the sharing thing.
Brady, on the other hand, was really good at sharing his snacks! But, when you have a beast sneaking up on your chair, what else are you to do?
Cleaning her first bowl of King Cake! Clearly it was delicious!
They were amazed by the plane in the sky. They had to stop see sawing to stare in amazement at the big thing in the sky! It has been a great start to the New Year! I'm looking forward to all the great adventures we have in store this year!

Happy New Year

Better Late than never!!

We started a new tradition that we are more than likely going to continue as the years go on, a CRAB BOIL! Daddy doesn't like to do them because "eating crab legs is too much work." But, he found a recipe, that included vegetable oil to help easily crack them. and Oh MYYYYYYY Gawwww!! These were the best crab legs EVER! Daddy did good! Everyone brought there own and we had a feast! It was such a great day. How can you beat celebrating with your closest friends and lots-o-activities!! Here is how our night went...

I got to wear my new party outfit and I rocked it!Even cute from the back!Sweet girl!Early in the morning, waiting for the moon walk to blow up! But it wasn't quite what she thought it would be.Anna loves playing with Alexis! It was a humid but nice day! We got to jump around while the Daddy's did a little hunting. Mommy even fired the shotgun for the first time ever, and I was scared! We had Cotton Candy! It isn't as easy at the carnies make it look!Being cute is so hard! Some of us even snuck in some snacks!Family Picture!Fireworks, of course!Nothing like a little dance off!The first group picture of 2012! Or the last picture of 2011!Muscles!!
